Bunaken was an island measuring 8.08 km² in the Manado Gulf, that was located in north the Sulawesi island, Indonesia. This island was part of the Manado city, the capital of the North Sulawesi province, Indonesia. Around the Bunaken island was gotten the Bunaken marine park that was part of the National Park of Kelautan Manado Tua. This marine park had biodiversitas marine some that were highest in the world. Selam scuba attracted many visitors to this island.
On the whole the Bunaken marine park covered the area measuring 75.265 hectare with five islands that was inside, namely the Island Manado Tua, Pulau Bunaken, Pulau Siladen, Pulau Mantehage along with several of his island children, and the Naen Island. Although covering the area 75.265 hectare, the location of diving (diving) only was limited in respectively the coast that surrounded the five islands.
The Bunaken marine park had 20 diving points (dive spot) with the varying depth through to 1.344 metre. From 20 points selam that, 12 points selam among them was around the Bunaken Island. Twelve diving points that most often was visited by the diver and the lover of beauty of underwater scenery.
Most of the 12 diving points in the Bunaken Island lined up from south eastern to north western this island. In this territory was gotten underwater great walls, that was mentioned also hanging walls, or walls of the giant’s coral that stood vertical and buckled above. The wall of this coral also became the source of food for fish in waters around the Bunaken Island.
